CHELSE V/S TOTTENHAM FULL TIME WHAT HAPPEN

FULL TIME
90+3 min Bale beats the wall but it's a dolly for Cech. No trouble at all from the man with the nice padded headwear.
90+2 min Bale wins his side a free kick after cutting in on the right-hand side. Bale will surely shoot from this. Ramires is booked for kicking the ball away, and for falling over earlier. Referees never forget.
90+1 min We'll have four added minutes. Dempsey is fed by Adebayor on the right. Bale's in the middle. Dempsey goes it alone. Saved by Cech.
90 min Blimey, big gaps in the Chelsea defence, Bale crosses, Azpilicueta just about gets it clear.
88 min Adebayor does well to bring the ball forward at speed down the right flank before playing an appropriate pass to Parker on the overlap. His cross is workmanlike and an easy claim for Cech.
87 min Bale is booked for not scoring. Chelsea have a free kick, just beyond the centre circle in Tottenham's half.
85 min Benayoun coming on for Oscar. Chelsea's supporters livid that it's not Frank Lampard. Chelsea supporters need to see Frank Lampard playing an active part on the pitch every time they visit Stamford Bridge. It restores their vital life-juice.
83 min Momentum obviously with Spurs now, but they've got to stay alert at the back. Another worrying Chelsea break ends with Cole crossing well for Torres, but Vertonghen is there first.
Goal 80 min GOAL!! Chelsea 2 Spurs 2 (Sigurdsson)
Excellent Tottenham goal. That did not look on the cards. Assou-Ekotto played it inside for Adebayor, whose backheel gave Sigurdsson sight of goal from a tight angle on the left. No mistake, great finish, game on.
79 min Spurs looking fed up now. Vertonghen booked for kicking the ball away. Remember that exciting Chelsea break on 61 minutes? Two amazing things happened during it. The first was Eden Hazard's scorpion flick to put Mata away:

The second was Ramires' head hitting the ground in comedic fashion:

77 min A better spell for Spurs. Huddlestone takes two corners in quick succession. What a man. Chelsea heads on both, though. They look to break, but Adebayor fouls Victor Moses.
76 min Ivanovic wins a header in the box to ease the danger.
75 min Chelsea have dealt with Bale ever-so well tonight. He's been crowded out of relevance, and Spurs look 80% worse for it. That Benítez, he's alright isn't he? Still, Spurs have a corner.
73 min Hazard coming off. He's done well, but is walking a little gingerly. Here comes the Europa League's Victor Moses in his place.
71 min Dempsey coming on for Holtby for Spurs. Don't say I didn't warn you.
69 min Mata with an erratic cross from the left after excellent work from Hazard to draw Walker towards him. Spurs still looking far too pourous at the back.
67 min Nothing doing from the latest in a neverending series of free kicks, but we've got a bit of variety now... It's a Chelsea throw-in! Curb your enthusiasm, it does not lead to a clear goalscoring opportunity.
66 min This festival of free kick continues. Chelsea's now, wide on the left, perhaps 10 yards from the byline. Here's a blast from the past, it's Andre Villas-Boas looking furious and impotent at Stamford Bridge:

64 min Scrappy game this second half. Another free kick, Spurs' this time. Huddlestone spots Holtby arriving unmarked at the far post, but Vertonghen doesn't, and both go for the same ball. Over.
63 min Spurs replace Lennon with Sigurdsson.
61 min Chelsea break terrifyingly from the corner after a poor clearing header by Dawson. Mata's away but Walker uses all of his pace to get back the right side of him, no matter, Mata squares it for the unmarked Ramires to his left. And Ramires... Falls over. And bangs his head on the ground. Embarrassing and painful. That takes some doing.
60 min Huddlestone tries a surprising low effort from the free kick. David Luiz has correctly identified the place to stand for an easy clearance. Soon after, Spurs have a corner.
59 min Tottenham manage to string a few passes together at last, and Walker forces Hazard into a foul not far from the corner flag on the right-hand side.
57 min Hazard put through in the box by Oscar. Spurs' defence just sliced open like an especially rubbish t-shirt. Hazard beats Walker with a neat cutback and sets himself to shoot. Not that well, as it turns out. He's off balance and balloons it. Not working for Tottenham, they need a change.
55 min Spurs cannot get going. They're attempting to position themselves in a more attacking way than in the first half, but can't get through Chelsea's midfield. Another pass through it is intercepted, and Azpilicueta is able to try a curler just shy of the box. Beats Lloris, but beats the crossbar as well. Here's Gareth Bale looking a bit sorry for himself:

53 min Oscar takes the corner but it's a poor one and Tottenham have a goal kick.
52 min Torres loiters in the box after a Mata cross. Assou-Ekotto gets there first and puts it behind for a corner. Spurs looking exposed at the back...
51 min Mata's delivery is headed away by Bale, who makes a heart shape with his fingers™ to celebrate.
50 min It's another Chelsea corner.
47 min An early Chelsea corner. Spurs deal with it significantly better than they have done any set pieces thus far, which would suggest they had AVB's verision of the hairdryer at half time which I imagine is very polite and comes with a custard tart for afters.
46 min Spurs get us re-started with a kick off, rather than a dramatic reconstruction of Alex Ferguson's glory years at St Mirren. Sorry about that. Here's the Ramires goal by way of apology:

20.33 Chelsea deservedly in front. Adebayor's glorious shot about all that Spurs had to show from that half. There have been brief glimpses of promise up front, but it's striking how little Bale has been involved. Chelsea doing well to neutralise him, looking good going forward and have taken their chances. See you in 15.
HALF TIME
45+1 min We'll have two minutes of added time. Or else.
45 min Chelsea looking tasty going forward tonight. More fluid, energetic work from them down the flanks. Mata crosses invitingly, but there's no-one appropriately positioned. In the end Azpilicueta is able to have a shot from longish range. Straight at Lloris.
43 min Walker goes close for Spurs! Plays a couple of quick one-twos, first with Holtby from a throw then focal point Adebayor, who lays it off neatly so that Walker can have a go from just outside the area. Only just wide.
Goal 39 min GOAL!! Chelsea 2 Spurs 1 (Ramires)
Dreadful defending from Spurs, but a top work from Chelsea. Torres with a fabulous trick on the right-hand side, then a neat pass inside for the advancing Ramires. He shurgs off Parker and stabs it into the far corner with a toe-poke. Extreme cheekiness. Spurs too high up the pitch, then Dawson and Vertonghen were too far apart, giving Ramires a grassy ocean of space to work with.
38 min Ramires blasts over another free kick from reasonable range. Spurs still looking drunk from set pieces. It's not escaped my attention, and it's not escaped Gary Neville's either.
36 min Lots of excellent singing still happening. Little of it publishable. Spurs fans don't like John Terry much, do they? Here's Adebayor's sublime strike:

34 min Mata takes the corner in front of what's seemingly a father-son duo wearing matching Jam t-shirts. Mata's delivery is less Going Underground, more Just Who Is The Five O'Clock Hero?, though, and Spurs soon have a goal kick.
32 min Chelsea rallying, they have another corner. Spurs scored moments after their last one... Here are two Brazilians Oscar and David Luiz doing some world class clapping:

You see, the thing is that in Brazil they spend hours playing backstreet clapping, learning their skills with a very small pair of hands made out of bundled-up rags. Artless English applauders can't hope to compete:
29 min Chelsea looking bereft. They had been the only team in this game. Adebayor, while not dreadful, was displaying his usual Tottenham demeanour of utter laziness. What's that we have on our hands now? Oh, it is a game.
Goal 26 min GOAL!! Chelsea 1 Spurs 1 (Adebayor)
Spurs break from the corner and work it to Adeabyor inside their own half. Chelsea back off him, Adebayor unleashes a beautiful quasi-chipped curling effort which leaves Cech rooted and drops impeccably into the top corner. Incredible finish.
25 min Impressive defending from Dawson, who takes a ferocious Eden Hazard shot directly into his face. Then gets up and does some urgent clapping. INGERLAND INGERLAND INGERLAND! Chelsea corner.
23 min Luiz has his silly shot. He must be 40 yards from goal. It hits the wall. Meh.
22 min Chelsea free kick in silly David Luiz-shot range. Here's Oscar's opening goal. Check out the utter confusion of Tottenham's defence to a bit of movement:

20 min Ivanovic gives the ball to Holtby as nice gift-wrapped present. Adebayor chooses not to make a run in front of him, allowing Ramires to get back and make an excellent tackle on Holtby.
17 min Gary Neville is furious. I would be too if my favourite ever Scotsman had abdicated. He's taking particular displeasure at Spurs' organisation from set pieces. More indifferent defending after a quick Chelsea free kick and it gives Mata a chance in the area. Over.
15 min Some acceptable """""banter""""" going on between both sets of fans. "One song," sing Spurs' to Chelsea's after the fourteenth airing of "Champions of Europe, we know what we are," "you've only got one song," Spurs' fans continues. The Chelsea support respond with "One player, you've only got one player".
13 min Spurs doing a reasonable job going foward thus far, Lennon and Bale causing predictable havoc either side, and Adebayor having a reasonable game thus far on his own up front, but there's a slight panic to their play close to the area. Settle down and I can see them picking holes in the unfamiliar Cahill / Ivanovic centre back pairing. Spurs will need to defend better, mind. Poor marking from the corner which led to Chelsea's goals.
Goal 11 min GOAL!! Chelsea 1 Spurs 0 (Oscar)
Fantastically-delivered corner, Cahill loses Parker and the centre back gets up fantastically and heads towards the far post. Oscar is unmarked and able to apply a finishing touch with a stooping header.
10 min Spurs concede a corner after Chelsea thump a free kick into the box. Home side looking good, buzzing after their win at the weekend I reckon...
8 min Disappointing shot from Huddlestone after Spurs work it in off the right flank at speed, Adebayor helping it on intelligently towards the midfielder in the "D". Easy for Cech, he could have thrown his padded hat on it.
7 min Spurs' best move of the young game so far. Huddlestone clips a well-weighted pass to Bale, who's occupying the left flank like it's 2009. His cross looks good, but it's headed clear by Cahill. At the other end Mata spins and shoots after a good pass from Torres, but fires over.
5 min Mostly Chelsea so far. Hazard receives the ball on the left-hand side and has brought along his box of tricks. No getting past Kyle Walker, though, and the home side are forced back.
3 min Mata very close to being in behind the Spurs defence from a long Cahill ball from his own half. He's flagged offside. He's not, you know. Wake up Spurs.
1 min It's a kick off, which Chelsea have made happen. Let's all watch some football.
